Westworld “Deep Dive” Series, Tech-Gnosticism and Integral Yoga [What’s Your Theory Podcast]

What’s Your Theory?” sifts through pop-culture phenomena for its metaphysical gold. In this series, I riff with Stephen T. Harper on the techno-gnosticism and sci-fi metaphysics of the popular HBO series Westworld. Give it a listen.
This episode, “Kiksuya,” brings in a few myth themes, really amps up the electric gnosticism, travels through to the underworld reminiscent of Dante’s Inferno (or the Greek river Styx, or Orpheus traveling to the underworld to rescue his lover), and hones in on a strange, technologized appropriation of Sri Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga and the “meta-awareness” of reincarnation in the psychic being. I’ll explain that last part.
Are you watching the show? What do you think about the implied techno-metaphysics?
